This weekend I had the opportunity to meet baby Nicholas and spend some time with his family. Big brother Toby is such a sweet boy. He kept a watchful eye on his new baby brother as I worked at capturing some memorable images for the family.

Check out the slideshow of the images from the session. You may want to have the tissues at hand!

This time next week Natasha and I will be in full swing with our first wedding of the 2011 Season.

We met up with Laura and Christian a couple of weeks ago for their engagement shoot and walk through at the church and wedding venue.

Cannot wait to see you guys again. Have a great week.

I am having such a good time editing this session. I cannot make up my mind if I prefer the color or black and white version of this. Love to hear what you think.

More images from this little Sunday morning love fest later.

My Italian is non existent, however I think I am right in saying “bella bambina”. Correct me if I am wrong.

On Friday morning I had the pleasure of meeting the R family. I got the sense from emails and telephone calls prior to our meeting that this was going to be an amazing session and one filled with love and joy. I was spot on with that prediction!

By the end of my visit to their beautiful home I felt I had made new friends. I was made to feel so welcome and treated to a tasty lunch.

Sofia seemed to be enjoying herself so much that she did not really want to sleep for long. As a result I was able to capture some wonderful eye contact shots, which are often challenging at such a young age. However Mommy informed me that she slept soundly for a long time AFTER I left!

Thank you so much R family for making me feel so welcome. I look forward to watching Sofia grow.

My old blog is still around, if you get the urge to take a trip down Memory Lane. Seems a shame to archive it completely as there are so many lovely memories right over there at Blogger.

I had the pleasure of meeting sweet little Clover on Friday. I always go silly for puppies, but nothing prepared me for just how silly Clover would make me. I just about melted when I stepped out of the car and was greeted by the cutest little fur ball I have ever seen.

Cameron was lucky enough to come along for the ride and was a wonderful assistant. He got lots of wet puppy kisses. We both had a hard time saying goodbye! I have a feeling that it will not be much longer before I cave on the NO PUPPY front! Did I just say that out loud?????

Big changes are on there way for Debbie Allan Photography.  I am excited to be launching this new blog and promise to be up to the minute with updates.  I am sure you will agree it has a fresh, new look.  Perfectly timed for the new season and an exciting time for my business.

Over the winter we have been busy preparing for the opening of my client consultation room.  It is almost finished and is looking amazing.  I will be announcing the date for my Open House opening celebration very soon.  We installed a projector which will allow me to invite clients to view their gallery HUGE.  The thing I am looking forward to the most is being able to witness my clients viewing their images for the FIRST time.  I miss out on that with online client galleries.
